Features to know about
Faster Setup: Custom Brackets Cut Down Install Time
The B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails makes installing a fifth-wheel hitch straightforward. The custom brackets mount to existing holes in the truck frame, so there’s less drilling and measuring. That means less time under the bed and a solid fit the first time. The brackets sit beneath the bed to support the 10-bolt base rails above, creating a sturdy attachment point for your hitch without modifying the frame.
Reliable Foundation: Heavy-Duty Steel Rails for Your Hitch
These above-bed rails are built from powder-coated steel that resists corrosion and wear. Once mounted, they give you a secure foundation for towing and hold up through repeated hitching and unhitching. The included brackets, rails, and hardware are designed to work together as one system, giving you confidence every time you tow.
More Hitch Options: Industry-Standard Rail Compatibility
You’re not limited to one brand of hitch. The B&W base rails follow the industry-standard pattern, so they work with popular fifth-wheel hitches from B&W Patriot, Curt, Demco, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky, Reese, and Valley. That flexibility lets you keep or upgrade your hitch without swapping out your rail kit later.
Clean Fit in the Bed: Low-Profile Mounting Design
The rails fit flush against the bed floor for a clean look that keeps your bed functional when you’re not towing. If you have a spray-on bed liner, it can stay in place under the rails for an easy install that looks professional when finished.

Purchased mounting kit, had to heavily modify it to be used with airbags. Wish it would have said something about this in description. Other than that product is good quality and perfect fit. 3522118

Very difficult to install on a 2012 F150 with the 5.5’ bed. It can be done, but the front bolts are in a very tight spot. 3641691

Service was phenomenal !. Everything looks to be extremely well made and instructions clear. I have not yet began to install it as I have to remove current 5th wheel hitch from truck bed.In the middle of some medical issues currently so not sure when I'll be able to attack this project but hope to get back with a follow-up of how it went and how it looks ! Thank you very much, couldn't be happier ! 1766803

Arrived one day early and both boxes arrived together. Fit very well, but the instructions did not match the mounting bracket. However, the existing holes from the previous rails and bracket matched exactly. 1193710

I would give it 3 out of five stars. The instructions show drilling two holes on the ends for the forward rail when there is only one hole in the bracket. I now have an extra useless hole in my bed. 1326271

Received the brackets but no rails. Had to call and have them shipped to me at a later date which delayed my plans. I'm guessing that it is a quality product from what I hear. 1682573

See what our Experts say about this B and W 5th Wheel Hitch Rails
The Curt Custom 5th Wheel Installation Kit 16424-104 is designed to fit the 2011 to 2016 Ford F-250, F-350, and F-450 Super Duty trucks. I checked with Curt and, unfortunately, they currently do not have a kit available to fit the 5-1/2 foot option for your F-150. However, I do have another American made option that will suit your needs.
The B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails # BWRVK2404 is, again, made in the USA and is compatible with B&W Patriot, Curt, Demco, Draw-Tite, Hidden... view full answer...
The best quality and most affordable 5th wheel hitch for your 2011 Ford F-150 is going to be the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch item # BWRVK3200. B&W makes the best 5th wheel hitches on the market. The dual jaw on the Patriot offers a secure connection with 360-degree jaw-to-king-pin contact. This 5th wheel hitch has a 16,000 lbs towing capacity and a 4,000 lbs vertical load limit. The Patriot also comes in a 18,000 lbs capacity item # BWRVK3255.

Yes, the Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails with Installation Kit item # C16200 will fit your 2004 F-150 Crew Cab. This is a universal kit so it will fit most trucks you just have to drill holes in the frame.
A way better option would be to use the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails item # BWRVK2404. This kit is custom fit and mounts in pre existing holes in your F-150's frame. This kit fits all of the bed lengths of the 2008 F-150. It will provide you with a set of industry... view full answer...
Yes, you can use the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16115 with your 2014 Ford F-150 but you do need base rails as well and for that I recommend the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails # BWRVK2404 which fits all 3 bed sizes for your truck.
Please note the E16 is a base model 5th wheel hitch and we really only recommend using it for occasional and/or short distance towing. The slide bar jaw leaves a bit of slack around the king pin so you'll get a bit of chucking and jarring... view full answer...
Hi Ben, good news, you can absolutely keep your existing fifth wheel hitch. You do not need to buy a whole new hitch just because you're setting up your 1997 F-250 HD for towing.
For the F-250, you would need the B&W Universal Base Rail and Installation Kit part # BWRVR3200. Since the truck is an older model, B&W does not offer a custom-fit bracket kit for it, so the universal kit is the correct option. It includes the frame brackets and a new set of rails. Unfortunately, B&W does not... view full answer...
We offer three different Custom 5th Wheel Hitch Install Kits that would be compatible with your 2013 F150, the Curt # C16441-204 you referenced, the B&W # BWRVK2404 or the Reese # RP50081-58.
All three of the installation kits use Industry Standard fifth wheel bed rails that will work with your existing Husky 16K hitch, and neither of the three will require any drilling into the truck frame (although holes will need to be drilled into the bed to attach the frame brackets to the bed rails).

The Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch item # C16115 will work great with the Lippert Turning Point pin box. It has a 16,000 lbs capacity which will work great with your Reflection 269RD 5th wheel trailer. A rotating pin box is the best option for your short bed 2014 F-150 because a slider will not give you enough clearance to turn and back into tight spaces with a 5-1/2' bed.
To attach the E16 you will want the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches item... view full answer...
The hitch option you'd need will depend on your bed length. If you have the 8 foot bed, the # BWRVK3200 you'd looked at would be perfect along with the # BWRVK2404 install kit.
If you have a 6-1/2 foot 'standard' bed, you'll need a sliding hitch to provide proper clearance between the front of the 5th wheel and the rear of the truck cab. The # BWRVK3200 would not provide that clearance, but the sliding version, part # BWRVK3270 is what you'd want to use. You'll also need the # BWRVK2404... view full answer...
Hi Ed,
Base rails sit right on the bed so you would need to trim the liner in order to install the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWRVK2404 in your 2013 Ford F-150. It's only acceptable to install base rails over a spray-on liner. view full answer...

To find the 5th wheel towing capacity of your 2012 Ford F-150 you will have to look at the 2012 Ford RV & Trailer Towing Guide. There will be a chart that lets you match up all of the specs on your F-150 to find the maximum loaded trailer weight.
Assuming you went with the B&W Patriot # BWRVK3270 you were looking at, you will also need the Base Rails # BWRVK2404. Installation of the hitch itself is fairly simple. The rails require some measuring and drilling to install. Once installed,... view full answer...
The B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches Item # BWRVK2404 will work with your B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 16,000lbs Item # BWRVK3200 and is a custom fit for your 2013 Ford F-150 so it will require no drilling during installation.
